Audiovore is thrilled to announce the launch of our new residency program, Sound inSight. Sound inSight aims to support career growth in the music industry by offering a hands-on training program for emergent music industry professionals, while also serving Colorado musicians through the production of high quality promotional content. Residencies will be offered to students underrepresented in the fields of audio and video production.
Sound inSight will offer residencies to 6 individuals working in audio engineering, videography and music journalism, mentored by a diverse team of experienced industry professionals. Residents’ projects will document 8 Colorado-based bands from diverse genres through the production of audio and video content, interviews, and blog posts. The residency is project-based, with the residents producing 8 live-performance music videos along with interview and blog content during the 6 month residency, which runs October 2019 – March 2020. Residents should be able to commit 10-20 hours each month, working alongside their assigned Team Lead. Work will take place in live music venues across the Denver metro area and at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver.
